Lady
luck smiled on a company executive from
Penang when he won RM2.2 million in last
Wednesday's Toto 6/42 Jackpot draw.
The
46-year-old administration executive who was
accompanied by his wife collected his
winnings of RM2,215,895 at Sports Toto HQ
in Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur
yesterday afternoon. He was the only winner
of the Toto 6/42 jackpot in Toto Draw No
963/95 conducted last Wednesday evening at
Pudu Plaza Kuala Lumpur.
According
to the winner he paid RM5 for five
combinations through le Lucky Pick" at
one of the Toto sales outlets in Penang last
Wednesday. When he discovered in the
newspaper, after the family had supper last
night that one of the five combinations he
purchased earlier: 10, 11, 19, 27, 40 and 42
were drawn as the first prize jackpot, he
was so thrilled and excited that he had a
sleepless night.
He
immediately shared the joyous news with all
members of his family.
"
I will give RM1 million to my wife and RM50,000 to each of my four children."
said the lucky winner adding that he will
use his windfall to buy a couple of
condominiums as an investment. He already
owned two condos and a residential house.
With
the new found wealth he is considering to
change his BMW car for a more prestigious
Mercedes.
A
spokesman of Sports Toto confirmed that the
second prize jackpot in the same draw was
won by two punters sharing the snowballed
prize money of RM120, 204.
The
RM2, 215, 894 jackpot was accumulated over
20 draws since October 8, 1995. It was the
lucky punter from Penang who finally won the
jackpot.
