The RM15,941,581 Super Toto 6/49 first prize jackpot, the biggest amount for the game was won by a lucky winner in last Sunday's Toto draw.

The winning numbers drawn for this particular Toto draw were 2,4,21,23,29,38 and bonus number 46.

It was not sure whether the hefty amount was won by a single winner alone. Previously the highest first prize Super Toto 6/49 jackpot won was RM12.72 million. The jackpot was won by six winners for Toto draw held on 21/4/2001(draw 1828/01). And the 2nd prize of RM745,540 was also won in the same draw.

Prize money for Super Toto 6/49 jackpot began to accumulate from 25/1/05 (draw 2447) and started to snowball, as there was no winner for three a half months. Many punters started to go after the jackpot when the prize money surpassed RM10 million. Heavy betting on the game resulted in the jackpot reaching close to RM16 million on Sunday.

The RM16 million jackpot is the biggest ever recorded by Sports Toto. The amount is very closed to the recorded RM16.5 million prize money paid by Pan Malaysia Pools in 2002 which was won by a lucky winner from Kuala Lumpur in December 2002.

The second biggest prize money paid by Pan Malaysia Pools was RM16 million in Feb this year. The big prize was won by a winner from Kuantan, a woman in her thirties.
